Overcharge

Overcharge was made for the third Blackthornprod Game Jam.

Overcharge is a turn based space shooter.  You can make 5 moves each turn. Each move can be used to either move or shoot.  

Then it is your enemies turn. The enemy does the opposite of what you do. For each time you moved, they will shoot, and vice versa.

This is where the theme comes in:

The less you move, the more they move.

The less you shoot, the more they shoot.

What results is a space shooter where instead of franticly shooting at enemies, you have to carefully plan out each move in order to destroy as many enemies as possible, without risking your own health.

Controls: 

A & D = Move left and right.

Space = Shoot

This game was made in about 4 days, and was uploaded the next morning. This is my first solo game jam entry.
